/Know this.

A middle-aged man with gray hair and beard, wearing dark sunglasses, a layered jacket, and tan pants, sits outdoors holding a smartphone and a brown leather bag, with a red background.

My name is Eric Channing Brewer. Life for me began as a shy kid from the cul-de-sac with a destiny to be seen as an outsider, as the one who never quite fit in, and as the weird guy no one really gets. Instead of running away from who I was, I leaned into it.

As a result, I’m also the guy who can crack up a room with a funny observation and a well timed joke. I’m the one who can work a crowd in a social setting. I’m the guy people look at and think, “He’s got style, He’s got charisma, He’s go that something special.” But guess what, I’m still weird! We all are.

I developed the confidence I needed to live the life I wanted. I’ve found happiness and purpose. I found love. I found my community.

I’ve also been in ruts, felt lost, needed love. I’ve gone through times where I’ve been scared about my path forward, down about the world around me, unfocused in my mind and unconnected to my true spirit. Through it all, I developed stamina, and fortitude to push forward. With focus and dedication to my core values, I achieved and maintained the things that mattered to me most.

Now let’s be real. We all know that life comes with trade-offs, right? For years, I worked as a federal contractor. The income was stable but the missions became routine. To cope, I invented the man I wanted to be on my time.

I stylized my life for pleasure, for joy, for humor, for creativity, for love, for adventure, for passion and for purpose. I didn’t always get it right! Sometimes, the mix was off. I kept investing in me. I kept showing up for myself. I kept learning, and kept having fun. I’ll ruminate on all that in my blog.

What I’m willing to share with you as a stylist and lifestyle coach are the skills I’ve picked up along the way and just how to apply them for a life well lived.
